1 Royal Canadian Army Service Corps Battle Dress Trousers : olive green serge wool ; loose fitting trousers. The fly of the trousers are fastened with five fly fronted circular green metal buttons. There are six identical buttons set intermittently along the inside of the waist of the pants. The outside of the waist has four wool belt loops that are fastened with identical buttons on one end and sewn-in on the other end. There is one belt hoop on each hip and two on the back. There are three additional buttons on the exterior of the back waist that would be covered by a belt. This pair of trousers has two hip pockets and one flap pocket with a button on the rear.
The back of the inside of the waist has a faded stamp in blue ink on it with text that reads, "BATTLE D[RESS TROUSERS] / WORKMAN UNIFORM / COMPANY LIMITED / MONTREAL CANADA 194 ...[illegible] / 5 / 6 / 27 - 30." Belonged to Earl Conn, later of Langley, BC.
