Mufford, William Arthur
William Arthur Mufford was born in Nanaimo in about 1885 to parents Thomas Prior and Millicent (nee Udy) Mufford. The family originated in Cornwall, England, but moved to Ontario in 1873 for several years before moving to Nanaimo for a year or two, and then settling permanently in the Milner area. Arthur married and had three children, Garnet W., Herbert A., and Aleda Viola Mufford. He died in Milner on June 9, 1933, at the age of 48, and is buried in Fort Langley Cemetery.
