The number "686" is hand-written in black marker. Below the photograph, there is black text reading, "F.J. HART/B.C. When the calendar is opened, each top page inside shows a historical photograph of a relevant historical building or location in Aldergrove, with information given in text below the photograph. Each bottom page shows a calendar month, with not only provincial and federal holidays and holy days, but also social events and meetings for various organizations, including: the Aldergrove Heritage Society (AGHS), Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre, Aldergrove OAPO number 71, Royal Canadian Legion Number 265, the Rotary Club, Langley Arts Council, Langley Centennial Museum, Langley Heritage Society, Aldergrove Elks Hall, Knights of Columbus, Aldergrove Veterans' Resource Society, B.C. Farm Museum, Langley Chamber of Commerce, as well as City of Langley and Aldergrove municipal events. The penultimate two pages of the calendar are devoted to information about the AGHS and its history. The inside of the back cover gives the location and contact number for 15 local organizations and municipal public services, including the AGHS. The back cover of the calendar has the following text: "Photo reprints from/ (italics) The Place Between (end italics)/ are available from:/ (italics) Alder Grove Heritage Society" followed by the Society's address and contact number, which may not be current. At the bottom, below the text, there is the AGHS' banner logo with their name printed on it.
