1 photograph : col. ; 15 x 10 cm. This is a photograph of people attending the Arts Facility Lunch in 1994, with a partial view of the people seated at the table. This shot shows the table at the back of the room and a partial view of the right-hand table. In it, the city mayor at the time, Grinnell, is standing and speaking to attendees. She has short brown hair and is wearing an outfit comprised of a white blouse, pink skirt, and pink suit jacket with a white broach pinned to the left jacket lapel. The mayor is also wearing a brown wristwatch on her left wrist and a ring on her left hand. The other attendees shown in the photograph are all wearing formal business attire and some are wearing name tags on the breast of their jacket. The tables are covered in white linen and set with plates of food, glasses, white napkins, and water decanters. Behind the mayor, there are stacks of brown wooden upholstered chairs and a sideboard with rows of glasses on top of it. The walls are plain white and there are two framed paintings above the sideboard and stacks of chairs. The carpet is dark brown low pile. The back of the photograph is covered in handwritten notes. The first note is written in cursive black ink and reads, "Builders + Developers/ Trust Fund/ meeting with/ Builders + Developers/ at Best Western Hotel/ Langley/ 1994/ City Mayor Grinnell/ standing." The second note, at the bottom, is written in a similar hand using light blue ink and reads, "Mayor John Scholtson on her right/ Tnshp [Township] Councillor John Campbel on her left"
