Description

Trophy awarded to the winner of the BC Track Racing Association Early-Lates race; wooden base with plastic column and two metal maple leaves, on top of column is a metal cup and stock car. Award has gone to Neil Van-Horne (1965), John Rothwell (1966), Dave Dixon (1967), Al Hewer (1968), Ron Morrison (1969), Larry Lodge and Pete Harding (1970), Tom Mair (1971). This trophy was given out annually from 1965 to 1971 for the winner of the Early Late Race. There is tarnishing on the column and the engraving plates.

Lodge, Larry

Racer at the Langley Speedway. Car No.39, between 1968 and 1978. Raced in the Early Late and Super Stock Class, and was the B.C.T.R.A. Early Late Track Champion in 1970. He was the Lower Mainland Oval Racing Association (LMORA)'s Most Improved Driver 1973 for 'A' Super Stock, and won the LMORA Hard Luck Award in 1976.
