The fonds consists of one letter (1991.018.001) and poem (1991.018.002) by George Bolton to the Fort Langley Native Sons of B.C. (1923).

Bolton, George
George Bolton was born in about 1877. He took up land near Fort Langley in 1919 as part of the Soldiers Settlement Act, and lived there for 26 years with his wife and children. He worked in the gravel pits, and had a berry farm. He was also a writer, and wrote a letter and poem to the Fort Langley Native Sons of B.C. in 1923.
Native Sons and Daughters of British Columbia
A small, secret organization created in 1899, based on a similar organization in California. They adopted Hudson's Bay company titles for their Officers, such as "Chief Factor" for the head of a local chapter or "Post". They were formed to maintain awareness of BC pioneers and provide mutual economic benefits for their members
