Almond Brown was born in the United States in about 1871, the son of Robert (Sr.) and Eleanor (Ella) Brown. The Brown Family came to Langley in 1884.

Brown, Olive

Brown, Robert, Jr.

Robert Brown, Jr. was born in Ontario in about 1882 to parents Robert and Eleanor (Ella) Brown. The family came to Langley in 1884.

Brown, Robert, Sr.

Robert Brown Sr. was married to Eleanor (Ella), and came to Langley with his family in 1884. He was a farmer, but had previously fought against Louis Riel in the the North West Rebellion. In 1900 he owned a couple pieces of land on 240th Street, part of which was known as Brown Road. The Browns and their son Henry farmed with oxen.

Brown, William

THERE ARE FOUR WILLIAM BROWNS in Langley's history. This William Brown was a son of Robert Brown. He lived in Langley Prairie, and is of no relation to Fort Langley's William Harvey (Billy) Brown.

Harvie, Marie (nee Brown)

Marie Harvie (nee Brown) was married to Robert Harvie. Mother of Claude, Clair and Robert Jr.
