People/Subject
Moore Residence
The Moore Residence stands at 839 248th Street. This 160 acre section was owned by the Edinburgh & North American Mortgage & Loan Co. in 1905. By 1911, it had been sold to G. H. and J. H. Moore and J. H. Lyner. By 1912 the Moores were in full ownership although they were living in Edmonds, and by 1914 they were listed as living in Otter, at which time this house was apparently built. In the early 1980s this place was being known as "Memory Acres."
