Coin to celebrate the coronation of King George V. On one side is a side profile of King George V, with the words "GEORGE V KING AND EMPEROR." The other side has the words "BORN JUNE 3 1865 ASCENDED M[A]Y 6 1910 CROWNED JUNE 22 1911" around the outer edge, and a crown above a small circle, surrounded by four shields and the words "CANADA/ INDIA/ AUSTLA/ AFRICA/ GOD SAVE THE KING/ HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" ["Shame to him who thinks evil of it" in French]. The coin has a small hole in it with a metal loop attached to a red, white, and blue striped ribbon. The hole appears to have not been originally part of the coin's design, as it is punched through the "A" in the word "MAY."
