Inc / New York / Net Weight 5 1/4 ozs."; a code is stamped on bottom in turquoise ink reading, "7N7 2503"; An insignia is also present on the bottom; on the lid is the Yardley trademark image, a colour painting of a woman selling lavender, Yardley's version of Francis Wheatley's 'Cries of London: Two Bunches a Penny'; side of the lid reads, "Yardley Dusting Powder / perfumed with English Lavender / Net Weight 5 1/4 ozs. / Makers and Distributors for U.S.A. / Yardley of London . Inc., N.Y.; colours on the box are primarily gold, red black and off-white exluding the painting; no traces of powder remain; Yardley was the perfumer to H. M. Queen Mary between 1932 and 1949; 2008.020.007-.012 were found within the box upon donation.
