Annie Isaacson (nee Murray was a daughter of Paul and Lucy Murray, founders of Murrayville. When her parents left Zorro, Ontario with her three grown brothers to move west to Langley, Annie and her husband Christian Isaacson originally stayed in Ontario, but they moved out and joined the family after 1877. Annie and Christian later settled on the north side of the McDonald Road (48th Avenue) a half a mile above Murray's Corners, close to her parents. Her husband died in 1926, and she lived alone on the Yale Road across from Berry's barn until the 1950s. She always led the Grand March at the Delta-Surrey-Langley Pioneers' Ball. She celebrated her 91st birthday on October 14, 1949, by officially christening the new Heidelburg automatic press at the local paper.

Christian Isaacson was born in approximately 1843. He married Anne Murray, daughter of Paul and Lucy Murray, founders of Murrayville. He passed away in Murrayville on 17 July, 1926, at the age of 83.
