1 Plate, Commemorative : ceramic ; The plate is ceramic and white. In the middle of the plate there are a number of illustrations of a variety of things. In the centre of the plate there are two angels standing across from one another raising one arm towards a levitating crown. On a ribbon at the top of the image it says "CORONATION OF / KING GEORGE V AND QUEEN MARY". There is a trumpet with a flag hanging from it underneath the ribbon that says "JUNE 22nd 1911". By the angels' feet there is a ribbon that says "GREATER IMPERIAL BRITAIN". Below this, there is more text saying "KING OF GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND / AND OF ALL THE BRITISH DOMINIONS BEYOND THE SEAS / EMPEROR OF INDIA". There are two coat of arms between the angels. One has four segments, two blue and two red. The first says "CANADA' and is accompanied by an illustration of a beaver. The next says "NEW ZEALAND" with a bull, next is "SOUTH AFRICA" with an ostrich, next is "AUSTRALIA" with a kangaroo. There are a number of leafy branches and flowers throughout. On the back of the plate is the mark of a ceramic company, "Late Foley / SHELLEY / ENGLAND". There are three small light green lines on the back of the plate as well that look like they were put there with a green felt pen.
