Collection consists of 8.3 cm of textual records that were created and collected by trustees of the Langley Builders' & Developers' Arts Facilities Trust during its operation from 1994 to 2017. The fonds is organized into three series: One - Administrative History, Two - Financial Records, and Three - Donation Records.
The first series, Administrative History, consists of two files. The first file consists of the recorded minutes of meetings of the trustees of the Langley Builders' & Developers' Arts Facilities Trust and includes some handwritten correspondence between the trustees, that was kept with the minutes. The second file consists of records on the research and establishment of the trust, this includes the bylaws, list of local developers, list of trustees, handwritten notes, revenue plans, issues of "Langley In Progress" from 1991 to 1994, newspaper clippings on growth in Langley, and a copy of the City of Langley's "Financial Statements for the Year Ending 31st December, 1992."
The second series, Financial Records, consists of two files. The first file consists of the federal tax submissions and returns of the trust as an registered charity. The second file consists of banking the Trust's banking documentation.
The third series, Donation Records, consists of five files. The first file consists of newspaper clippings, correspondence, and handwritten meeting notes related to the Langley Builders' & Developers' Arts Facilities Trust's donations to the Langley Players Drama Club. The second file consists of correspondence, notes, and budgets related to the Trust's donations to the Langley School District Foundation for Blacklock Fine Arts Elementary and Langley Fine Arts School. The third file consists newspaper clippings, correspondence, meeting notes, blueprints, donation receipts, and press releases relating to the Trust's donations to the Langley Community Music School. The fourth file consists of correspondence relating to the Trust's donation to the Langley Centennial Museum. The fifth consists of correspondence relating to applications to the Trust for funding projects that were not supported from Trinity Western University and the B.C. Farm Museum.
