1 black and white photograph of Gladys (left), A. M. Cronkhite, and Eunice Cronkhite in the Christmas of 1942 ; image shows them standing in front of the Cronkhite house. The image has a white frame and writing in black ink: on the left side it reads "Gladys", on the top "Daddy", on the right side "Eunice", and on the bottom " Christmas 1942". Gladys was a "problem child" that child welfare convinced Mr. A. M. Cronkhite, Marshall Cronkhite's father, to take on. She moved in with the Cronkhite family at the age of twelve, and provided help and company to Mrs. Cronkhite while Mr. Cronkhite was boarding in Vancouver. She eventually graduated from school as a nurse.
