1 Booklet : glossy colour paper, pp. 17 ; 21.5 x 13.5 cm. This booklet includes maps of Aldergrove, Murrayville, Fort Langley, Langley City, Brookswood, Walnut Grove, and Willowbrook. The booklet contains advertisements for businesses in Langley, including Budget Car Rental, Nevada Bob's Golf, and Domaine de Chaberton winery. The front cover of the booklet is purple with yellow lettering. In the top right corner is a yellow triangle with "FREE" in purple letters, and in the bottom right corer is a yellow triangle with "1st ANNUAL/ EDITION" in purple letters. The cover includes a photograph of a trail in Sendall Gardens, lined with flowers and shrubs, and a small photograph on an angle, close to the top right of the fountain at Langley City's Innes Corner.

Township of Langley

The Township of Langley, B.C., comprising Langley, Fort Langley, Murrayville, Langley Prairie, Derby, Milner, Aldergrove, Otter, Salmon River Uplands, and Glen Valley, was incorporated in 1873. The City of Langley, B.C., covering the Langley Prairie region, was incorporated as a separate entity in 1955. Langley was named after Thomas Langley, a prominent stockholder in the management of the Hudson's Bay Company. He had inherited his brother's stock in the Company in 1793 and was selected as a member of the committee in 1807. He held this position until his death in 1829.
