Lewis, Janet (Jenny) Morgan (nee Simpson)
Jenny Simpson (June 7, 1909 to June 17, 1986) was born in Vancouver and lived in Langley since 1913. She was the daughter of Alice and James Simpson. She married Knowlton Lewis in about 1938-1939. They had two children, Sharron and Trevor. She was very active in the community, and was named Langley Senior Citizen of the Year in 1984. She worked with many community organizations over the year, including the Fort Langley PTA and Langley District PTA, the Board of Trade, the Fort Langley Community Society, the Boy Scouts, and the Langley 4-H Garden Club. She was also active with the Fort Langley May Day Committee and was Queen Mother for a number of years. She had been instrumental in setting up the first Douglas Day banquet in 1948. Her brothers ran "Simpson Bros. Store" in what is today (2004) known as the Fort Grocery. She passed away June 17, 1986.

Lewis, Knowlton
Knowlton Lewis came to Fort Langley in the 1930s from the interior. He worked at the Fort Langley Sawmill. He married Janet (Jenny) Morgan Simpson in 1938 or 1939. They had two children, Sharron and Trevor.
McConnell, Mary (nee Simpson)
Mary is the daughter of Alice and James Simpson, and the sister of the brothers who ran the Simpson Bros. Store in Fort Langley. She married Ashley McConnell.
Simpson Bros. Store
In 1929 the Simpson brothers moved to Fort Langley from Aldergrove and began running the Simpson Bros. Store in the Fort Grocery building. John and James Simpson were running the building at 9179 Glover Road as "Simpson Bros. Store." John was married to a woman named Lillian, nee Baker, and they lived above the store. In 1951 the Simpson Bros. store was lost to the bank and went on sale.

Simpson, Alice
Alice Graham Ritchie married James Simpson and settled out near 264th St. in 1913. Mrs. Simpson and her children moved to Fort Langley in the early 1929. Her children are James, Mary, John, David, and Janet (Jenny). John and Jim ran the Simpson Bros. Store in Fort Langley, and although David helped out, he ran his own trucking business. Alice died in 1953.
Simpson, David
Son of Alice (nee Ritchie) and James Simpson. David grew up in Aldergrove, and moved to Fort Langley with his family in 1929. He was a little involved in the Simpson Bros. Store there, but it was mostly run by his brothers Jim and John. Dave ran his own trucking business. David married Elizabeth (Belle) Robertson.
Simpson, James (Jim)
Son of Alice (nee Ritchie) and James Simpson. Jim grew up in Aldergrove, and moved to Fort Langley with his family in 1929 and ran the Simpson Bros. Store with his brother John. He married Edna Mae Hewitt, and hey had a son named David.
Simpson, John
John Ritchie Simpson was born February 16, 1915, to parents Alice (nee Ritchie) and James Simpson. John and his family lived in Aldergrove before moving to Fort Langley in 1929 and running the Simpson Bros. Store with his brother, Jim. He married Lillian Baker in Milner on June 10, 1944, and had two daughters, Muriel Margaret and Elizabeth Maureen. John and Lillian moved to Surrey in 1956. John died October 25, 1989.
