Cedar storage basket, likely made by Rose or Hannah Oppenheim of Spuzzum, Nlaka'pamux Nation. Basket created using a linear coiling technique with a cherry bark imbrication in a mirrored triplicate C-shaped pattern on each side of the basket (four); this pattern is described as a mouth or funeral box design. The outer and inner lines of the pattern are a dark brown colour, and the middle is a light red-brown colour.
The base was created using a wider linear coiling pattern. The basket had four leather ties near the rim of the basket on the longest sides. One long side had a leather loop in the center of the mirrored C-shape pattern.
