There are 13 children visible in the photograph; the people in the photograph are standing in roughly three rows; there are 11 girls on the left hand side of the image; one of the girls (farthest left) is cut off and partially out of frame; there are 4 girls in the front row; the girl in the front row on the far left wears a red, white and blue vertically striped dress; she has straight fringe and her hair appears to be pulled back; the next girl to the right wears a bright pink dress and cardigan, both with round white buttons; she has long blonde hair; the next girl to the right wears a light blue and white patterned dress and has very short brown hair; the girl furthest right in the front row wears a pink skirt, light coloured patterned top and has blonde hair with straight fringe; she holds a number of paper pages (or a book) under one arm. There are two young boys and a minister on the right hand side of the image; the boy furthest to the right wears a dark blue collared shirt, black slacks and black shoes; his arms are crossed and he is holding a book or some kind of paper against his chest.
