Register of Poisons from Plewes Drug Store and Brandow's Drug Store containing dated entries from Sept. 29, 1939 to Feb. 14, 1957;1 book; hardcover; black cover; the front cover reads "Register / of / Poisons / Pharmacy Act as Amended" in embossed black lettering; the edges of the pages are pink; the register of poisons is a record of customers who purchased poisonous substances from the pharmacy; each entry contains "date", "name of purchaser", "name and quantity of poison sold", "purpose for which it is required", and "signature of purchaser"; most of the entries also include "address of purchaser" and "signature of seller"; this register came from Plewes Drug Store (Angus M. Plewes Druggist and Chemist, which opened around 1920) and continued to be in use when the business later became Brandow's Drug Store in 1945.
