Daniel George McEachern was born on 31 May, 1890, and died on 14 December, 1984. His wife Mary Etta McEachern (Minnie), nee McLeod, was born on 17 August, 1891, and died on 19 December, 1981. The couple was married August 16th, 1911 in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Dan was a farmer in Maxim, Saskatchewan before the couple moved to Langley from the Prairies in 1933, settling on the Wilson Townline Road. They lived in Langley for forty years before moving across the Fraser River to Albion (a neighbourhood in the District of Maple Ridge). The couple had 11 children: Elsie, Donnetta, Jack, Arthur, Howard, Elmer, Glenn, Ronald, Bruce, George and Milton.
