Fibre Arts A-Z

Posted 34 days ago

By the Langley Weavers' & Spinners' Guild
From July 25 - October 25

Whether animal, mineral, plant, or synthetic, fibre has been a fundamental part of daily human activity for thousands of years. With the prolific availability of cheap clothing today,
fibre is easy to take for granted.

The Langley Weavers' & Spinners' Guild has used the alphabet to create an exhibit that explores the various elements of fibre arts including spinning, weaving, dyeing, felting and knitting. It is the hope
of the guild and the museum that this exhibit of textiles will entice and inspire people to discover their own passion for fibre arts.

Join us at the opening reception on Thursday, July 27 from 7:00 -9:00pm.
